Leap Day 2012

Not much to report on today. Weather is a beautiful 66º according to my desktop weather report. Blue skies, sunny. Makes me want to do yard work. Problem is, Id have to get dressed, go to the house, spend maybe 2 hours, then have to come home and get ready and go to work. Not really worth it :/ So I have the window next to me open as far as it'll go.

Poor bf had to work all day yesterday then all night in Chicago. Got home about 11am. Got 2 hours of sleep, now I have to go wake him to go to his other job cleaning carpets. This new job is more money for him, but I don't really think its worth the loss of sleep, which means loss of health eventually...

Been working on a maille coif (google it!) for a friend's friend. Last night I must have twisted my wrist wrong while working on it because my wrist really hurts this morning. I hate wearing my wrist brace because then my fingertips get numb and cold and its hard to do anything. Ill add a pic of the hood when I get around to it
I mostly do maille jewelry, but my friend at work asked me if I could make a hood (coif) for one of her friends who is into that kind of stuff too. I said sure, although Ive never done anything bigger than my 5 row euro 4-1 choker.
